With over 20 years’ experience, Prue started her career with Accor where she worked for several years in various business development and sales management roles. Prue then broadened her experience with other leading companies in the events and hotel industry including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), holding the positions of Assistant Director of Sales and Senior Manager Customer Experience positions

 

Over the past 15+ years, Sam has worked in the Tourism and Events industry throughout New Zealand, Japan and Australia. Sam started his career in New Zealand with AJ Hackett Bungy before moving to Japan to take up the role of Operations Manager at Bungy Japan to focus on setting up new jump sites across the country. Sam then changed tack moving to Melbourne and working in the attractions, amusement, and events industry over the last seven years. After weathering majority of the Covid-19 storm in Australia, Sam moved back to New Zealand and is now heading up Weta Workshop Unleashed in Auckland as Area Manager. Across his career he’s specialized in operations management, strategy, and business development and most importantly, leading and optimising large teams to maximize business results. Sam has recently completed his Masters of Business Administration and currently sits on the Board of Young TEC where he hopes to help inspire the next generation of Tourism and Events leaders across Aotearoa.
