Ellerslie Events, formerly Ellerslie Event Centre, is on a mission to fill you in on the breadth and diversity of our offering here as many will still be unfamiliar with some (perhaps even most) of the 20 rooms and spaces we have here on site. Our best and brightest include the super popular Tote on Ascot and the stunning Goldstar Lounge – which has recently had a top to toe renovation – as well as the novelty of the extensive lawns and green spaces we can offer. 2023 was a time of regeneration for us in more ways than one with our new chef team flexing their culinary muscles and creating fresh menus for all of our packages and event types. The overhaul extended to our beverage menus too and a partnership with Black Pineapple was formed to shake, shake, shake us into unchartered territory, launching our first cocktail menu. Ellerslie Racecourse also returned to the spotlight in January, welcoming horses back on course for the first time in 22 months. Our $55m state-of-the-art track upgrade (the reason for our temporary closure) is complete, and we have plenty of chances for you to get racing this summer! Ellerslie Events has gone from strength to strength and at the close of our 2023 financial year, we celebrated that more event planners than ever chose Ellerslie Events as their venue of choice. We were thrilled to help you celebrate all together, your way and this commitment resulted in a record-breaking year for us. 2024 is set to be even better so we’ve got a wee summer special: Book in a business event between now & 31 March and we will shout mini tub ice-creams for your delegates to enjoy on these hot summer days.
