Transport World

Revamped and rearing to go after a hugely successful 2023, Transport World is looking forward to a phenomenal 2024, with extravagant events planned, a new attraction opening and more.

Bill Richardson Transport World is a venue like no other, breath-taking and magnificent, guests are wowed from the moment they walk through the door.

Transport World’s events team has another jam-packed calendar year in 2024, with their famous Drive-in Movies returning in winter, the Lazy P.A Christmas Party back to send the year off with a bang and preparations for the 2025 George Begg Festival already in full swing.

It’s all the one-of-a-kind parties Transport World is notorious for but under the guidance of the new Head of Events, Catherine Skerrett. A familiar face within the Transport World events team, Catherine has been a part of the fold since its inception in 2015. Originally a lawyer, she is renowned for her eye for detail, and is looking forward to delivering a magnitude of memorable events for all Transport World clients.

What is even more exciting is there is a new events space on the horizon, at Transport World’s latest attraction Toot Sweets.

Invercargill’s new lolly shop will not only be filled with sweet treats, but will be New Zealand’s first interactive lolly eutopia - a destination and experience for all to enjoy.

Coupled with Bill Richardson Transport World and The Handle Bar at Classic Motorcycle Mecca, a guaranteed conversation starter, Transport World will have event space for every occasion.
